    Cruise Destinations & Ports

Bozcaada, Türkiye’s third-largest island at 40 square kilometers, is in the northeast Aegean Sea, just southwest of the Dardanelles in the district of Çanakkale. It is peaceful and calm in winter, and dynamic and colorful in summer.

Bozcaada has 12 bays and is surrounded by 17 small islets.

In ancient times, the island was known as Leukophrys while its name “Tenedos” derives from a legend of Greek mythology. In the 16th century, for the first time it was referred to as Bozcaada by the famous Ottoman navigator, geographer, and cartographer Piri Reis.

Bozcaada is known for its viticulture and wine production. The island, most of which is covered with vineyards, boasts many centers of wine production. Grape culture is an inseparable part of the island's life with vines decorating the balconies of the beautiful old houses on the cobblestone streets.

Bozcaada's unique nature is further enhanced by the beauty of its beaches and their crystal-clear waters.

    Port Bozcaada

Bozcaada is located in the northern Aegean Sea, 12 nautical miles from the entrance of the Dardanelles Strait. Its proximity to many of the Aegean Sea’s popular tourist destinations and to İstanbul gives it a great advantage and offers flexibility to cruise planners planning itineraries.

Bozcaada is 3.4 nautical miles from the mainland. It is connected to the mainland by a scheduled ferry line, which takes 25 minutes.

The world-famous ancient city of Troy, the legendary Assos, the ancient city of Alexandria Troas, and the Gallipoli Peninsula are a very short drive away from the ferry landing point. Bozcaada’s impeccable location, its beauty, and its vicinity to ancient ruins will soon make the island a favorite with cruise ships.
